28th May 2020  - For your information

Ravensthorpe, together with the other primary schools in our Academy Trust, will not be opening to all Reception, Year 1 or Year 6 children on 1st June.

We know that this may be disappointing for parents and children, but we hope that you will understand that we are working more gradually to ensure that all children and staff within our school are  as safe as possible.

The school will be partially open for an increased number of children of critical key worker parents and vulnerable children from 1st June. More vulnerable children from Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 will be invited to start school the week beginning 8th June, with numbers of children in school to be  increased again the week after,

Thank you for all your patience and support at this time. If you have any questions or queries, please contact the school office by phone or email.

On 20th March 2020, our school closed until further notice to support the Government's response to tackling Covid-19/ Coronavirus. Please click here for more information

We remain open to children of critical key workers and specific vulnerable children during this time. We have a staff rota in operation and follow all hygiene and social distancing guidance each day. Parents who are critical key workers and require childcare at school, should contact the school with evidence of employment and shift timetables. We are in regular contact with parents of vulnerable children and will discuss childcare arrangements on a regular basis.

10th May Update from the Government:  At this stage we cannot answer questions about possible re-opening and I hope that we will receive more information from the Government over the coming days. In the short-term, nothing has changed - we remain closed to all but children of critical key workers and our most vulnerable pupils. We will provide further information in the coming days and weeks once we are able to do so.

We have set up  HOME LEARNING pages for each year group in school. Home learning will resume on 20th April. Please use Tapestry or Google Classroom during this time and email for any home learning support.

Please keep checking our website and Twitter page for all the latest news and information.

We continue to say thanks to all in our school community for all your support at this difficult time.
